How can I help your business?

I offer quality, fast and reliable freelance writing; copywriting; press release writing; blogging; copywriting for websites; PR support; media knowledge and contacts; social media managing and audience growth; journalism training and mentoring; team leading; radio presenting; and much more besides. Please contact me for competitive prices.

By using a professional copywriter to write your press releases, the information on your website or your online blog, you are putting yourself ahead of the competition and guaranteeing that your business, charity, school or organisation comes across in a professional way.

As a highly trained editor, writer and social media manager for 23 years, I can guarantee copy that is well-written and tailored perfectly for your audience.

Since starting my new role I have provided press release support, undertaken copy writing services and managed social media accounts for local businesses. I produce a weekly feature for the Southport Visiter and have completed a variety of freelance news, feature and commercial writing for publications including: Woman’s Own; Mirror Online; Daily Star; Local Life; Lancs Live; Lancashire Post; Southport Visiter; Southport Champion; Liverpool ECHO.

I have enjoyed being a journalism mentor and trainer to dozens of journalists, lectured at the Key Influencers course at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston, and was the main speaker at events including Sefton Chamber of Commerce Business Ball, Your Heroes, and Southport Ambassador Awards.

I founded the Stand Up For Southport grassroots community campaign in Southport, one of several campaigns I have led with a strong social message.

I currently present a weekly show on Sandgrounder Radio, and am a past presenter at Dune FM and BBC Radio Lancashire.
